The mod was initially meant to be a full recreation of the films as well as a more sandboxy affair, and after God knows how long, Tim managed to release half of it (but not before making his website play 'the final countdown' on autoplay for months) which was the sandbox part.

From memory the mod did contain skins that were lifted from other people without credit, and Tim raised money for a new computer through fan donations so it's not like the claims we're outrageous. There had been pretty persistent claims for years that the mod was nothing but a scam and Tim (the creator) was too slow/never finishing it/profiting off others work. I was a moderator in the kotf forums back in the day (around 2007ish) just before the creator sudoku'd the boards.

This mod is that great, really guys, i am not joking, this one is like heavily map-modded SW BF2 (original) but with sophisticated lightsaber combat system, it is DEFINITELY worth checking out!
